Our role
Our Energy Recovery Facilities provide a sustainable treatment solution for non-recyclable waste that diverts it from landfill.
Resource recovery
Through resource recovery we extract valuable materials from waste that can be repurposed, reused or recycled.

Carbon capture
Carbon capture is the most effective solution currently available to decarbonise Energy-from-Waste. Our Protos facility is leading this effort in the UK.
District heating
‘Waste’ heat produced by our incinerators can be directed through insulated pipes to heat public buildings, houses and flats.
Social value
We work with all stakeholders to create social value in the communities where we operate and drive inward investment into the UK.
